Also, it depends on if the posts are freshly treated or not. Freshly treated posts will be heavier since they have excess treatment on them. Regardless of post size, length, or treatment date, out-of-state shipments are limited to 48,000 pounds per full truckload. In-state (Michigan) deliveries, however, can run at full 8-axle capacity, allowing significantly higher capacity.

We guarantee our posts treated to .40 CCA for 25 years and those treated to .60 CCA for 30 years under normal soil conditions. This limited warranty covers rot, decay, and termite damage only. It does not apply to damage caused by extreme weather or acts of nature.
No, we don’t. We only sell our treated posts in bulk, as bundles. We do not sell individual posts.
Yes, we do. However, the best pricing is based on full truckload quantities. Trucking is based on 48,000 pounds out-of-state or can run at full 8-axle capacity in-state (Michigan), so the best bang for your buck is to get as close to that weight as possible even if you have to split a load with your fellow competitor — there’s no sense in paying for air.
